Igloo Launches ‘Igloo Tech Solutions’ to Digitally Transform Insurance Across Southeast Asia
Regional insurtech leader Igloo has launched Igloo Tech Solutions, a comprehensive suite of digital tools designed to modernize insurance operations and unlock new growth opportunities for insurers and businesses across Southeast Asia.

Building on its success in embedded insurance, agent networks, and direct-to-consumer models, the new business line offers end-to-end digital solutions covering the full insurance value chain. These include modular platforms such as Igloo Agent, Igloo Consumer, Igloo Partner, and a no-code core platform called Turbo, along with claims and administration modules. These solutions have been refined over the past five years and have powered Igloo’s own operations across embedded, intermediary, and D2C channels. More than 75 brands and insurers, spanning industries from fintech and e-commerce to logistics and telecommunications, have adopted Igloo’s technology to streamline operations, scale distribution, and introduce new capabilities without heavy infrastructure investment.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment as insurers across the region face increasing pressure to digitize. According to McKinsey’s 2025 Global Insurance Report, advances in generative AI and changing customer expectations are pushing insurers to modernize how they design, price, and deliver products. Igloo Tech Solutions aims to close the digital gap in the industry, especially in Asia-Pacific, where insurers typically allocate only 2–3% of Gross Written Premiums to technology. “Enhancing digitalization capabilities is not optional. It is imperative in today’s landscape,” said Raunak Mehta, Igloo’s Co-Founder and CEO. “Igloo Tech Solutions is designed to bridge this divide, offering insurers the tools they need to modernize operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive rapid growth.”

A key differentiator of Igloo Tech Solutions is its growing suite of artificial intelligence features. The AI Claims Agent enables policyholders to file claims through a chat interface, guiding them step-by-step and allowing them to upload documentation in minutes. Claims are automatically approved or rejected with detailed feedback, reducing the workload for claims teams and improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, Igloo’s AI Fraud Detection system uses a combination of OCR technology and large language models to analyze claim submissions, detect inconsistencies, and flag potential fraud cases. These capabilities help insurers automate labor-intensive processes and strengthen fraud prevention.

Igloo’s AI-driven and modular platforms are already being adopted by leading names across the region. MSIG Vietnam is using Igloo Agent to boost sales productivity and operational efficiency among its agent network. In Indonesia, consumer finance platform Kredivo has implemented Igloo Consumer to launch a fully embedded insurance marketplace within its mobile app. Digital wallet TrueMoney is using the same solution to bring insurance offerings to its large user base. In Singapore, a local insurer has leveraged Igloo Partner to enhance claims management, while Cambodian insurer BIMA is integrating the platform to embed insurance in retail stores.
