Xceedance has entered into a transformative partnership with the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC).

The collaboration appoints Xceedance as the platinum sponsor for UAC throughout the year 2024, underscoring the company’s dedication to amplifying its role within the insurance sector.

As a pivotal component of the partnership, Xceedance secures naming rights to UAC’s flagship expo, slated to unfold on February 8 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. This prominent sponsorship role was previously held by Lloyd’s in the preceding year.

Xceedance’s commitment extends beyond the expo itself, encompassing plans to conduct a series of three webinars throughout the year. The webinars, tailored specifically for UAC members, aim to deepen their knowledge base and explore innovative approaches to leveraging technology in addressing the evolving needs of brokers.

Speaking about the move, Jenny Bax, CEO of UAC, commented on the substantial benefits of the partnership, saying, “The collaboration provides significant branding, networking, and communication opportunities for both parties. We’ll work closely with Xceedance to ensure we maximize opportunities to deliver on expectations. We’ll finetune the relationship as it grows. UAC and Xceedance will support each other, and we aim to develop a strong, robust, long-term relationship.”

The highlight of this collaboration will be the UAC-Xceedance 2024 Sydney Underwriting Expo on February 8, where approximately 120 underwriting agency and business service members from UAC will participate as exhibitors. With an anticipated attendance of over 600 brokers, this one-day event stands as the largest on UAC’s calendar. Xceedance, as the platinum sponsor for tech and data services, asserts its prominent feature at UAC expos throughout the year, including the flagship Sydney event.

This strategic partnership marks a significant step for Xceedance as it seeks to expand its influence in the intermediary channel and underscores the commitment of both organizations to fostering a robust and enduring collaboration.

“Xceedance sees the underwriting agencies sector as a key element of Australia’s insurance industry and one that’s growing rapidly,” said Business Leader for Key Accounts in Australia Prateek Vijayvergia.

He added: “Agencies want to be innovative, entrepreneurial and tech-enabled. We can help them achieve that and generate strong profitability, growth and longevity,” Mr Vijayvergia said.
