NFP Expands Employee Benefits Portfolio with Acquisition of Get Medical Plans
NFP has acquired Get Medical Plans Limited, an expert intermediary specialising in health insurance solutions in a move that aims to strengthen NFP's foothold in the private medical insurance market.

The London-based Get Medical Plans, led by founders Marc Benjamin and Sanjeev Mallipeddi, brings specialised expertise and a strong reputation in private medical insurance intermediation to NFP. Their leadership will continue to guide the operations of the acquired business.

By integrating Get Medical Plans into its operations, NFP aims to enhance its employee benefits capabilities, offering tailored solutions to clients seeking comprehensive health insurance coverage.

Benjamin and Mallipeddi boast over four decades of collective expertise in the private healthcare sector, demonstrating a knack for streamlining the medical insurance brokerage process and identifying solutions tailored to their clients’ unique requirements. Now aligned with NFP, they have the opportunity to extend their services to a broader clientele, amplifying their beneficial influence on both businesses and individuals seeking guidance through the complexities of health insurance procurement.

In a joint statement, Benjamin and Mallipeddi said:  “We are delighted to join NFP, especially as the company continues to expand in the UK. This partnership will enable Get Medical Plans to continue to deliver a first-class service to our clients by accessing the resources and range of services within a global organisation, while also giving us the ability to reach new customers.”

“We are delighted to welcome Marc, Sanjeev and the entire Get Medical Plans team to NFP,” said Iain Chadwick, managing director of Employee Benefits for NFP in Europe.

He concluded: “Adding the expertise of the Get Medical Plans team and their solutions will help NFP better support our clients and grow our presence in the rapidly expanding independent medical insurance market.”
