The initiative is designed to help companies—particularly small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)—attain CMMC Level 1 compliance and access affordable cyber insurance. The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is a mandatory framework for 221,000 businesses serving the U.S. military, with 140,000 companies required to meet CMMC Level 1 standards, including 15 essential cybersecurity controls.

Many SMBs in the defense sector face financial and logistical challenges in meeting compliance requirements and obtaining cyber insurance. To address thegap, CyberCatch has partnered with CMR Risk & Insurance, a U.S.-based insurance brokerage licensed in all 50 states. Businesses that use CyberCatch’s solution to achieve CMMC Level 1 compliance will be eligible for a discounted, no-application cyber insurance policy offered by CMR through an AXV-rated cyber insurer.
