Cowbell has entered into a strategic partnership with Microsoft and Ingram Micro Inc. to elevate policyholder security and diminish cyber risks.
Cowbell Broadens Cyber Insurance Reach for UK Mid-Market Enterprises

As a prominent provider of cyber insurance tailored for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Cowbell announced the partnership marking a significant step in fortifying cybersecurity measures for its policyholders.

As a result of the partnership, Cowbell policyholders now have access to complimentary Microsoft Exchange migrations to Microsoft 365 Business Premium. This enables SMEs to fully leverage the capabilities of artificial intelligence, facilitating seamless transitions to the cloud. The partnership aims to boost cybersecurity hygiene and enhance risk assessment for new policies, ensuring that policyholders are equipped with robust defense mechanisms against cyber threats.

The partnership also introduces the Cowbell Connector for Microsoft, streamlining the transition to Microsoft 365 for policyholders. In a bid to fortify security measures, Cowbell extends free cloud migration services to businesses in the US and UK.

The initiative allows policyholders to elevate their security posture, reduce susceptibility to cyber threats, and even earn a 5% premium credit at renewal by implementing essential security measures, including multi-factor authentication and Microsoft Defender for Microsoft 365.Before the migration process begins, each organisation will undergo a comprehensive evaluation of its existing IT infrastructure. This crucial step ensures a thorough understanding of the migration scope. Ingram Micro’s partners will then furnish estimates for the migration duration, with an impressive average turnaround time of just one week.

Upon the successful completion of the cloud migration, organisations will unlock the opportunity to delve deeper into insights about their cloud environment. This enhanced visibility is made possible through Cowbell’s advanced cyber platform, providing organisations with valuable tools to assess and optimise their newly migrated cloud infrastructure.

“Cowbell is dedicated to enhancing our customers’ cybersecurity posture, especially as cyberattacks are on the rise for SMEs,” said Manu Singh, Vice President of Risk Engineering at Cowbell. “We are thrilled to partner with Microsoft to provide valuable services and resources to our policyholders.”

“As cybersecurity attacks continue to rise, our vendor partners are coming together to strengthen the community with security solutions that meet updated cyber insurance requirements,” said John Dusett, Executive Director & Category Leader, Cloud & Strategic Vendors at Ingram Micro. He added: “Cyber insurance often starts as a business decision to financially insulate a company in case of a breach – for our resellers and their end customers, it also creates a framework for establishing security policies utilising tools like Microsoft 365 to protect their businesses.”
