Corgi has launched Corgi Claims, a full-service third-party administrator (TPA) designed to accelerate claims handling by combining artificial intelligence with a nationwide network of licensed adjusters.
The new platform is available to insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), captives, program administrators and self-insured organisations, offering end-to-end claims management across a broad range of commercial insurance lines.
AI-Powered Claims Triage
At the core of Corgi Claims is an AI engine that reviews claims immediately after they are reported, automating many of the administrative tasks traditionally performed during the first notice of loss.
The platform assesses claim severity, identifies potential coverage issues and highlights missing documentation before an adjuster begins handling the file. By automating these early-stage processes, Corgi aims to reduce delays and allow claims professionals to focus on investigation, decision-making and customer service.
The company has also built a nationwide network of more than 5,000 licensed adjusters to support claims handling across the United States.
Broad Commercial Coverage
Corgi Claims supports a wide range of insurance products, including:
1. Commercial liability
2. Commercial property
3. Catastrophe claims
4. Renters insurance
5. Trucking
6. Workers’ compensation
7. Specialty insurance programmes
The platform is designed to help insurers improve operational efficiency while accelerating claims resolution and enhancing the policyholder experience.
Leadership Perspective
Nicolas Laqua, Co-founder and CEO of Corgi, said the company is focused on removing administrative friction from the claims process.
“Claims is where insurance keeps its promise, and it’s also where the industry is slowest. We built Corgi Claims so the busywork happens the instant a claim is reported, and experienced adjusters spend their time on judgment, not data entry. Faster answers for policyholders, cleaner files for carriers.”
The launch expands Corgi’s insurance technology platform beyond underwriting and distribution, reflecting the growing adoption of AI across the insurance value chain as carriers and MGAs seek to automate claims workflows while maintaining human oversight for complex decisions.
