In her new role, Orejas will work closely with both regional and country leadership to strengthen and execute Chubb’s distribution strategy, while fostering a high-performing sales culture across underwriting and distribution teams. She will also lead efforts to drive growth within Chubb’s Major Accounts segment across the CEMENA region.

Peter Kelaher, Division President for Chubb Continental Europe, Middle East, and North Africa, welcomed the appointment, stating, “Carla, a multilingual speaker of six languages, brings extensive global experience in insurance and risk management, including her proven expertise in leading cross-functional multicultural teams. Her background in strategic leadership and sales strategy, combined with a strong track record in revenue growth, client relationship management, and business transformation, will support our growth strategy in the region.”

Orejas brings over 15 years of insurance industry experience, having held several senior leadership positions at HDI Global. Most recently, she served as Chief Commercial Officer. She began her career in Chile with Aon, and has since built a reputation for driving commercial excellence in diverse markets. Orejas holds a degree in Corporate Public Relations, Communication, and Marketing from UNIACC University in Chile.

She will be based in Paris and will report directly to Kelaher.
