Schiffer will lead the company’s North American operations, focusing on driving business growth and enhancing client offerings in the region.

In his new role, Schiffer will oversee the expansion of AXA XL’s reinsurance business across North America, working alongside a highly skilled and dedicated team. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the company’s position in the region.

Schiffer brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Managing Director, Head of US National Accounts at a leading global reinsurer, where he managed relationships with strategic clients across the US. His career has also included key roles across Specialty, Engineering, and Property lines of business.

Schiffer holds a Finance degree from Fordham University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. His extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience are expected to play a pivotal role in AXA XL’s continued growth in North America.
