The alliance was cemented during a meeting on April 24th, when Fred Ding, Managing Director of AXA Global Healthcare China, and Angel Wang, Head of Distribution, met with Zhang Yu, Head of Wealth Planning and Strategic Insights at HSBC Broker-Pinnacle China, and Lam Ka Yiu, Global Insurance Business Development Director at HSBC. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on joint development and innovation in high-end medical insurance solutions.
As part of the partnership, HSBC Broker-Pinnacle China has officially begun offering SmartCare Exclusive, AXA’s flagship IPMI product, to its clientele. This marks the first time HSBC Broker-Pinnacle has incorporated a third-party international medical insurance product into its platform—an important step reflecting both companies’ commitment to innovation and client-centric service.
SmartCare Exclusive is known for its access to an extensive global medical network, flexible protection options, and high-touch service experience. Its availability through HSBC further extends its reach in the Chinese market, responding to growing demand among affluent clients for healthcare coverage that meets international standards.
