Khilosia brings over 35 years of experience at Lloyd’s, specialising in market development and stakeholder engagement across Africa.

In his new role, Khilosia will lead ASR’s distribution strategy, driving the company’s expansion efforts across Africa and the Middle East. He will focus on delivering tailored risk solutions, enhancing client relationships, and reinforcing ASR’s market presence.

Khilosia’s distinguished career began in 1989 at Lloyd’s, where he held various roles in finance, regulatory affairs, and market development. His notable achievements include expanding Lloyd’s market access across Africa and serving as Managing Director of Lloyd’s South Africa Ltd. Most recently, he held the positions of Regional Manager for Africa and Chairman of Lloyd’s South Africa.

Leveraging his deep expertise in the African market and extensive industry network, Khilosia will collaborate with ASR’s senior leadership team to strengthen strategic partnerships and support long-term growth in the region. He will be based at ASR’s UK office.

Khilosia’s appointment also includes a position on ASR’s Executive Committee, where he will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future growth trajectory.
