Intelligent AI has announced its expansion into the US market, following its selection for the Connecticut Insurtech Corridor, as it looks to address persistent data challenges in property underwriting.

The move builds on the company’s momentum in the London market and reflects growing demand from insurers seeking to improve data quality, underwriting precision, and portfolio resilience.

According to Intelligent AI, between 40% and 50% of submissions still arrive incomplete, with underwriters spending more than half their time gathering missing data rather than assessing risk. These issues are particularly acute in large and complex property portfolios, where inconsistent or outdated information can impact pricing accuracy and exposure management.

The company’s platform delivers high-resolution COPE (Construction, Occupancy, Protection, Exposure) data and rebuild cost intelligence, providing insurers with a structured and consistent view of property risk at the point of underwriting.

By integrating into insurer workflows through an API-first, cloud-based architecture, the solution supports underwriting, claims, and portfolio management processes. It is designed to improve submission quality, reduce underinsurance, and enhance catastrophe exposure analysis.

Anthony Peake said: “Expanding into the US is a natural next step for Intelligent AI, and being selected for the Connecticut InsurTech Corridor gives us a powerful platform to engage directly with leading US insurers. The data challenges we’ve solved in the London market are just as relevant in the US. Insurers who fix the data problem first will win the best risks, improve loss ratios, and build more resilient portfolios.”

The expansion coincides with Intelligent AI’s participation in a Connecticut InsurTech Corridor industry event, bringing together insurers, investors, and insurtech firms across the Hartford–New York–Boston region—often referred to as a key decision-making hub for US commercial P&C insurance.

Strategically, the move highlights increasing focus across the industry on data-driven underwriting, as carriers look to improve efficiency and accuracy in response to growing portfolio complexity and catastrophe exposure.
