Set to debut in 2025, the tool will enhance Prudential’s absence management services by providing personalised, real-time information on short-term disability, company-sponsored leave, and federal and state leave options.
Initially designed to address parental leave, the platform will gradually expand to include additional types of leave, offering comprehensive support for diverse employee needs.
Chengchen Li, Chief Executive Officer of Penguin Benefits, highlighted the significance of the collaboration “We’re thrilled that Prudential has chosen to deliver our comprehensive planning tool to their absence clients. Given Prudential’s commitment to empowering working parents to obtain financial well-being and peace of mind during important life events, we’re pleased to support their mission through our cutting-edge leave planning platform.”
Jess Gillespie, Prudential’s Head of Group Insurance Product & Underwriting, underscored the company’s dedication to improving workplace benefits “Prudential is committed to continuously enhancing the workplace benefits experience for the organisations and employees we serve. This collaboration is an important part of our efforts to simplify leaves for everyone.”
The leave planning tool represents a significant step in streamlining benefits management, ensuring employees can navigate life’s transitions with greater ease while supporting employers in managing their workforce effectively.
