In her new role, Ms. Ningen will lead a team of client managers, claims experts and underwriters in its largest market, the company said in a statement. Ms. Ningen has spent five years leading Swiss Re’s operations in Canada and the English Caribbean, it said.
She will continue in her current role until July 1.
Ms. Ningen was among the Business Insurance 2015 Women to Watch.
Ms. Crosby was most recently head of the global L&H underwriting and medical reimbursement team at Swiss Re.
Ms. Ningen will be based in Armonk, New York, and Ms. Crosby in Toronto.
