Ulrich previously served as the Head of Internal Audit at wefox before assuming his new role.

In his capacity as CRO, Mr. Ulrich will spearhead the Group Risk Advisory function, including the establishment of a dedicated Assurance function. He will also oversee the Risk Management of the Insurance Carrier within the organisation. Reporting directly to the wefox CEO as a vital member of the extended Executive Committee, Dominik Ulrich will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the organization’s risk management strategies.

The appointment of Dominik Ulrich as Chief Risk Officer underscores wefox’s commitment to reinforcing its risk management framework and ensuring robust governance practices across the organization.

Prior to joining wefox, Ulrich held various significant positions, including EMEA Technology and Data Audit Lead, Group Audit IT Competency Lead, and local subsidiary Head of Audit at Zurich Insurance Group. During his tenure, he effectively supervised the design and implementation of intricate audit plans, encompassing technology, data, and business risk exposures. Leveraging insights derived from data analytics, he played a pivotal role in continuously enhancing the global approach of the technology audit function.

Ulrich’s earlier roles encompassed serving as a Senior Audit Manager at Citibank in Singapore and as an Audit Manager at Citigroup Global Markets in Germany. His career trajectory also includes notable positions at KPMG in both Germany and the U.K.
