The insurance software provider announced that Peter Scott will take over the position of CEO from company founder Fraser Edmond. Edmond will move into the position of President, and is set to use the role to lead Broker Insight’s international expansion. Edmonds intends to split his time between the UK and the USA.

Edmond commented “We have some amazing new products launching later this year that will reinforce our commitment to bringing data-led decision making to the insurance industry,”

“We are creating a global leader in the commercial insurance market and bringing to life our company’s mission to ‘empower the commercial insurance industry through data-driven decisions’.”

Peter Scott is a seasoned industry veteran who has been working in an advisory capacity to the company for six months. He has worked in technology based businesses for over 20 years, and also has international expertise. Edmond commented “We are delighted Peter is joining us at this exciting phase in our company’s journey as we accelerate our growth and expansion,”. 

Scott reflected that “Broker Insights’ performance and progress to date have been exceptional.”

“The business is well-positioned to further grow in the UK and launch in the US and I look forward to continuing to work closely with Fraser and the executive to take Broker Insights to the next level both here in the UK and also the US.”

Broker Insights also signalled its intention to appoint two new commercial directors in the upcoming months.
