Kevin Strain, President and CEO of Sun Life Financial, acknowledged Goulet’s transformative leadership since joining the company in 2018.
Goulet has overseen major growth initiatives, including the establishment of a Client Experience Office, the launch of Sun Life Health, and the introduction of services like Sun Life One Plan and Prospr by Sun Life. Known for his passion for mental health advocacy, Goulet has championed workplace mental health initiatives and worked to improve access to mental health care across Canada.
Jessica Tan brings extensive experience in insurance and digital innovation to her new role. Previously co-CEO of one of Asia’s largest insurers, Tan has held leadership roles in digital transformation and health, including positions as Group COO and CIO. Before her time in the insurance industry, she was a partner at McKinsey, working in over 13 countries. Tan holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
Tan is also an active member of the global business community and has been recognised as one of Forbes’ The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women since 2019 and held a Top 5 ranking on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women for five consecutive years, 2019 – 2023. She sits on several global boards and advisory committees.
