JustInCase has raised approximately $11 million in funding to date and has become known for its focus on providing flexible, on-demand insurance solutions to consumers. The acquisition will allow Sony Financial Group to further expand its insurance offerings, particularly in the small-amount, short-term insurance market.
Sony Financial Group, which already operates in the property and casualty (P&C) and life insurance sectors, sees the acquisition as a strategic move to enhance its product portfolio and tap into the growing demand for more accessible and convenient insurance solutions.
