Sixfold has partnered with Sollers Consulting to help insurers accelerate underwriting transformation by combining AI-powered risk assessment with insurance consulting and implementation expertise.
The partnership will support insurer transformation programmes across Europe, the UK and North America. Sixfold and Sollers will work with insurers to automate submission intake, assess risks against their own underwriting appetite and generate transparent, explainable recommendations within existing systems and workflows.
The companies are already collaborating on several client engagements, with implementations tailored to individual insurers’ technology and underwriting requirements.
Sixfold’s AI underwriting platform integrates with existing technology rather than requiring insurers to replace their core systems. The company said it has processed more than 1.5 million submissions across more than 50 lines of business for global P&C and life and health insurers including Zurich, Skyward Specialty, AXIS and Generali GC&C.
Sixfold said customers have achieved processing times that are 50% to 97% faster, hit ratios that have increased by 15% or more and up to 30% higher gross written premium per underwriter.
“Insurers should not have to replace the systems their underwriters already use to get value from AI,” said Roger Ferrandis, head of partnerships at Sixfold. “Sollers know how those systems are set up and used. Together, that gets insurers to better underwriting results faster.”
Sollers has worked with more than 150 insurance organisations worldwide, including Admiral, Aviva, AXA, Beazley, IAG, Liberty, QBE, Sompo, Tokio Marine and Zurich. Its capabilities include underwriting transformation, core insurance platforms, cloud technologies and systems integration.
“Sixfold makes submission handling faster, more consistent and more intelligent,” said Jakub Śliwiński, head of underwriting at Sollers. “Together, we can help insurers achieve measurable results quickly while laying the foundations for underwriting transformation.”
The companies also share technology partnerships with Guidewire and Salesforce, allowing insurers to deploy AI within their existing technology ecosystems. They plan to support the partnership with joint educational initiatives, including webinars and industry engagement for insurers and MGAs.
