The company will offer property and casualty coverages for select segments, with products distributed exclusively through wholesale brokers.

Pivix was founded by a team of seasoned E&S professionals, all with extensive experience at Nationwide. Leading the company is Mike Miller, former President of Scottsdale Insurance, who will serve as Pivix’s Chief Executive Officer and President.

Joining Miller are fellow co-founders:

• Ken Levine, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary, who previously held roles as Chief Actuary of Scottsdale and CFO of several Nationwide specialty P&C companies.
• Joe Griffith, Chief Information Officer, with a 22-year background in technology roles at Nationwide and Ategrity.
• Sandy Vertuno, Chief Underwriting Officer – Contract Binding, who spent more than three decades at Nationwide and most recently served as Chief Underwriting Officer at Ategrity.

With this experienced leadership team, Pivix is set to make an impact in the E&S insurance market.
