Oka, a Park City, UT-based carbon Insurance company, raised over $7M in Seed funding. The round was led by Aquiline Technology Growth with participation from Firstminute.

The company intends to use the funds to scale its innovative carbon credit insurance offerings, addressing the risks that large U.S. corporations face when buying carbon credits to offset their emissions and meet net-zero targets.

Led by Chris Slater, Founder and CEO, Oka is a provider of insurance solutions for companies and organizations engaging in the carbon credit market. The company offers an insurance that will replace credits if destroyed or invalid, providing security and confidence to the VCM market.
