DogPack has partnered with Healthy Paws, a Chubb company, to bring pet insurance directly into DogPack's platform as the dog-focused technology company expands into essential services for pet owners.
The partnership initially targets users in the United States, who will be able to explore Healthy Paws' accident and illness coverage for dogs and cats through the DogPack app.
The integration will use information from a dog's profile to surface relevant coverage options and provide users with a streamlined path to enrollment. The companies said the approach is designed to make insurance access more natural within DogPack's existing discovery, community and marketplace experience.
“Having the right insurance partner is a key part of that vision,” said Jonathan Punski, CEO of DogPack.
Healthy Paws provides pet insurance backed by Chubb, with coverage that allows policyholders to visit any licensed veterinarian without network restrictions. The company also highlights fast claims processing, with most claims processed within two days.
“Partnering with DogPack gives us the opportunity to meet pet owners where they already are,” said Alex Faynberg, EVP of Healthy Paws.
The partnership reflects a broader move toward embedding insurance and other financial services directly into consumer platforms. For DogPack, the integration extends its proposition beyond dog discovery, social content and travel into services designed to support pet ownership throughout the customer journey.
