In a strategic move, MetLife has partnered with Nayya, a startup dedicated to streamlining the selection and comprehension of employer-provided healthcare plans.
MetLife Launches New MetLife Xcelerator Platform in Latin America

According to reports, under the collaboration, MetLife will exclusively provide Nayya’s capabilities to employers boasting over 1,000 employees in the United States.

Nayya’s benefits, decision support and year-round engagement solutions will be seamlessly integrated into MetLife’s Upwise platform, offered at no cost to companies.

Speaking about the new partnership, Bradd Chignoli, senior vice president, National Accounts & Financial Wellness at MetLife, explained: “While employees recognise the need for benefits, our research shows there are key barriers to employees’ understanding of what benefits are offered, how they can be used during critical moments and also year-round to support their personal needs and financial goals.”

He continued: “Our work with Nayya will empower employees to make informed decisions and provide educational guidance to understand the value and increase use of their employer-provided benefits.”

Sina Chehrazi, CEO & founder of Nayya, commented: “Through a mix of vision, culture and technology, MetLife and Nayya are embracing the challenges around benefits engagement and comprehension by joining best-in-class products with best-in-class consumer experiences. This collaboration couldn’t come at a more critical time to support today’s employees’ holistic health.”

Chehrazi added: “Together, we’re paving the way to deliver on the full promise and potential of the U.S. benefits industry.”
