The move is set to deepen Insly’s engagement with the region’s underwriting agencies (UAs) and insurers.
Insly representatives will attend the UAC conference on February 7th, where they will meet other members face-to-face and showcase the capabilities of the Insly platform.
Founded in 2013 by Risto Rossar, Insly is a purpose-built platform for UAs and insurers, enabling them to digitize and automate mid and back-office operations, including distribution, policy administration, underwriting, claims management, and finance. With a team of 110 operating across Europe and customers in 52 countries, Insly has gained global recognition for its specialised solutions.
The UAC, which serves the interests of Australian underwriting agencies, represents 120 corporate members, accounting for the majority of the Australian market. By becoming a UAC Business Services member, Insly gains access to strategic connections within the UA community, enhanced visibility, and opportunities to showcase its thought leadership and expertise.
Insly has already secured its first partnership in the Australian market and is exploring several potential opportunities for 2025. Through its UAC membership, the company aims to expand its footprint and support more Australian UAs in achieving the benefits of automation and AI-driven efficiencies.
“Underwriting agencies play a vital role in the Australian insurance market, yet many are still operating with manual processes and inefficient legacy systems,” said Risto Rossar, Founder and CEO of Insly. “As the market matures, underwriting agencies are seeking technology that is tailored to their specific needs and flexible enough to scale as they grow. For this reason, Australia is an important strategic market for Insly, and we look forward to meeting more UAs in the year ahead.”
Insly’s membership in the UAC underscores its long-term commitment to transforming the insurance industry in Australia through innovative technology and automation.
