The new app, now available on both iOS and Android, marks a significant step in esure’s digital transformation strategy.
Designed to give customers greater control and convenience, the app enables users to manage their motor and home insurance policies, while also offering a host of car-related services. These include monitoring vehicle renewal dates, booking MOTs, paying for vehicle tax, checking ULEZ or congestion charge exemption statuses, settling city tolls, and even pre-booking airport parking. Future updates are set to introduce new functionalities such as electric vehicle charging and fuel price comparisons.
The app is currently being rolled out to all esure customers, reinforcing the insurer’s commitment to digital innovation and improved user experience. The launch comes just weeks after Belgian insurance group Ageas announced plans to acquire esure from Bain Capital for approximately $1.7 billion.
“The launch of our all-in-one insurance app is a major milestone in esure’s digital transformation journey. It is a powerful example of how our platform is unlocking new possibilities to better serve our customers,” said Peter Martin-Simon, Chief Commercial Officer at esure Group. “We’re proud to have collaborated with Caura to bring this market-leading functionality to life at rapid speed.”
Sai Lakshmi, CEO and Founder of Caura, added, “It was a pleasure to partner with the team at esure to deploy their apps for iOS and Android. Consumer uptake of services has surpassed all our expectations and we’re excited to further support them on their mobile journey throughout 2025 and beyond.”
