Direct Line Group Appoints Adam Winslow as New CEO
Direct Line Group has appointed Adam Winslow as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

A well known leader in the UK’s insurance industry, Winslow brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience in the financial services and insurance sectors.

Prior to joining Direct Line Group, he served as the CEO of UK & Ireland General Insurance at Aviva, where he also led the company’s international operations. Before his tenure at Aviva, he held the position of CEO of Global Life Insurance at AIG, where he held various management roles across multiple markets, including CEO of AIG Life UK.

His career commenced at Allianz Asset Management in France before he gained international experience in South Africa managing a significant business process outsourcing contact center.

Winslow holds a master’s degree in European Business from ESCP Business School in Paris and a bachelor’s degree in History with French from York University.

Winslow is set to engage with colleagues across the organisation to gather insights on improving business operations and enhancing customer service. His first day is spent at the company’s Leeds office, and he plans to visit other sites and repair centres in the upcoming weeks.

A statement issued by Direct Line Group, said: “It’s an exciting day at Direct Line Group as Adam Winslow joins as our new Chief Executive Officer. Adam’s going to be meeting as many colleagues as possible to listen to their views on how we can improve the business and deliver for our customers. He’s spending his first day in our Leeds office and will be visiting other sites and repair centres over the next few weeks.”

It added: “It’s great to have someone with Adam’s experience, expertise and energy at the helm and the whole team is looking forward to giving him a warm welcome.”
