Diesta has integrated Kinexys by J.P. Morgan’s Kinexys Liink Confirm application into its insurance payment platform, enabling insurers, brokers and managing general agents (MGAs) to verify beneficiary account details before payments are made.

The integration brings account and payee verification directly into insurance payment workflows, addressing a longstanding challenge in commercial insurance where high-value payments often pass through multiple parties, currencies and banking systems and still rely heavily on manual validation processes.

By embedding Kinexys Liink’s Confirm application into its platform, Diesta enables finance teams to validate beneficiary information before funds are released, helping reduce the risk of payment errors, fraud and operational inefficiencies without requiring insurers to replace their existing core systems.

According to the company, Diesta is the first fintech in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to integrate this level of payee verification directly into insurance finance workflows. The service supports validation of account ownership and other data across more than 70 countries through Kinexys Liink’s blockchain-based information-sharing network.

The announcement follows Diesta’s recent partnership with INSTANDA, reflecting the company’s strategy of building digital infrastructure for insurance payments and finance operations.

Julian Schoemig, chief executive officer of Diesta, said commercial insurance payments remain among the most complex business-to-business payment flows in financial services.

“Insurance payments are among the most complex B2B payment flows in financial services. Money can move across multiple parties, countries and currencies before it reaches the final recipient, and every handoff creates operational risk,” Schoemig said. “By integrating Kinexys Liink’s Confirm application into Diesta, we are bringing account and payee verification directly into the insurance payment workflow. This marks an important step for the insurance industry as it moves towards settlement processes that are more digital, secure and scalable.”

Gloria Wan, global head of networks at Kinexys by J.P. Morgan, said the collaboration is intended to strengthen payment security across insurance transactions.

“By integrating Kinexys Liink’s Confirm application directly into Diesta’s insurance payment flows, we’re making it easier for institutions to improve control and reduce payment fraud throughout the insurance lifecycle,” Wan said.

Diesta said the integration is already live in production. During its initial deployment, the platform helped a global insurance broker verify several thousand payee accounts across multiple countries, currencies and account formats, enabling the broker to clean up outdated payment records and reduce manual verification work.

The service is now available to insurers, brokers, MGAs and other insurance market participants seeking to validate payee account information before initiating payments, supporting greater automation and control across premium collection and settlement processes.
