CCC Intelligent Solutions has launched embedded consumer financing within its CCC ONE platform through a new integration with Sunbit, enabling collision repair shops to offer flexible payment options for vehicle repairs and insurance deductibles.
The capability allows repairers to present financing options directly within the estimate workflow, helping customers address affordability concerns earlier and increasing the likelihood that repair work proceeds without delay.
The move comes as out-of-pocket repair costs continue to rise, with CCC noting that self-pay repairs now account for more than 25% of repair orders processed through its platform.
By embedding financing into the customer journey, repair shops can provide greater payment transparency, improve service conversion rates, and streamline the overall repair process. Customers can also pre-qualify for financing through digital touchpoints such as shop websites and CCC’s Carwise platform before booking appointments.
CollisionRight is among the early adopters of the solution. Rich Harrison said: “At CollisionRight, our priority is delivering a great customer experience while helping drivers get back on the road as quickly as possible. By offering Sunbit financing through CCC ONE, our teams can present payment options right away in their workflow, which helps customers move forward with repairs sooner. We’ve seen service acceptance increase, vehicles move through our bays faster, and Sunbit’s customer support has been a great extension of our commitment to customer service.”
Sunbit powers the financing experience with real-time decisioning and approval rates exceeding 90%, offering 0% interest payment options with no late fees, penalties, or hard credit checks. Repair shops receive payment upfront, while Sunbit manages billing and customer support, helping maintain predictable cash flow.
Mark Fincher said: “Cost can be one of the biggest barriers to getting a repair approved. By embedding consumer financing into CCC ONE, we’re helping shops convert more estimates into approved work while giving them an option to provide their customers with an easier, more flexible way to pay.”
Oded Vakrat added: “By combining high approval rates, no-fee payment options, and real-time decisioning, we’re helping shops remove financial friction at the moment it matters most, so more drivers can move forward with essential repairs quickly and with confidence.”
The launch reflects a broader shift towards embedded finance in insurance and mobility ecosystems, as platforms look to remove payment friction and improve customer outcomes across the claims and repair lifecycle.
