The enhanced platform allows policyholders to report losses online at their convenience, offering a more efficient and convenient experience.
Car insurance customers can now digitally register claims for a variety of incidents, including road traffic accidents, vehicle theft, lost or stolen keys, misfuelling, and weather-related damage. Home insurance customers can report claims for theft, water damage, storm damage, and accidental loss.
The new service has already demonstrated its effectiveness, with home insurance claims being processed and suppliers instructed within hours of online registration. Motor insurance customers have also been able to schedule vehicle repairs within minutes of filing a claim.
Both customers and brokers can access the digital claims tools, providing a more seamless claims experience while maintaining traditional contact options for those who prefer them.
Suzy Tiffany, Retail Claims Director at AXA UK, said: “We know that our customers’ expectations have evolved in recent years and they want the claims process to be quick, clear and simple. That’s why we’ve worked hard to ensure that these enhanced digital claims tools offer customers fast and seamless journeys at a time when they need it most as well as offering increased flexibility and improving their overall experience.”
