In this newly created role, Kaufmann will be tasked with launching and growing Arch’s U.S. Marine business, encompassing both Ocean Marine and Inland Marine product lines.
Based in New York, Kaufmann will report to Valerie Turpin, Chief Underwriting Officer for Property. His responsibilities will include building a specialized underwriting team and expanding Arch’s presence in the Marine insurance sector.
A seasoned industry leader, Kaufmann brings 35 years of experience in Marine insurance and previously served as EVP and Head of Marine at MSIG USA. He is recognized for his expertise in managing complex risks and developing innovative solutions, including both filed and non-filed policy forms.
