Allianz Türkiye has selected the Nettle AI platform to support its commercial property risk engineering operations, following a pilot programme that demonstrated significant efficiency gains in property inspections.
During testing, Allianz Türkiye’s risk engineering teams were able to complete inspections up to three times faster, with structured outputs delivered more rapidly to underwriting teams. The deployment is designed to address a common challenge in commercial insurance workflows, where field inspections often outpace the reporting processes required to convert findings into actionable underwriting insights.
The Nettle platform enables risk engineers to capture inspection data in the field using a mobile application, including photos, documents, and audio inputs. The system then automatically generates structured reports, risk scores, and underwriting guidance on the same day as the site visit, eliminating manual report preparation and reducing delays between fieldwork and underwriting review.
Dr. Ceyhun Eren, Director of Allianz Teknik & Risk Engineering at Allianz Türkiye, highlighted the platform’s impact on operational speed and its potential to reshape the future of risk engineering.
The rollout builds on Allianz Türkiye’s broader track record in risk prevention and innovation, including its establishment of Allianz Teknik, Türkiye’s first accredited earthquake and fire testing and training centre.
Jack Miller, CEO and Co-Founder of Nettle, noted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing AI-driven risk engineering and supporting insurers in modernising end-to-end assessment workflows.
