Astengo, with a robust background in SaaS platform-based businesses, aims to fortify Root’s presence in the UK, positioning it as the preferred platform for insurance businesses seeking digital expansion. 

His prior roles include Head of Sales at Cloud Insurance and Chief Commercial Officer at SchemeServe Insurance Software. Root, which entered the UK market in 2023 and formed a strategic alliance with Connect by Admiral, is now led by Astengo in exploring further partnerships with insurers, retailers, banks, and telcos to offer its comprehensive technology solutions across the UK.
