Accelerant has named Linda S. Huber as its new Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to scale its data-driven specialty insurance marketplace.
Huber brings extensive experience across the financial services sector, including nearly 20 years as CFO of publicly listed companies. In her new role, she will oversee Accelerant’s global finance function, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, and tax, reporting directly to CEO Jeff Radke.
She joins from FactSet, where she served as Executive Vice President and CFO from 2021 to 2024, leading global finance operations and investor relations. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at MSCI and Moody’s Corporation, where she gained deep expertise in financial strategy, risk, and capital management.
Earlier in her career, Huber held senior positions at organisations including PepsiCo and Bankers Trust, as well as serving on the Board of Directors of Bank of Montreal, contributing to key audit and risk committees.
Accelerant highlighted Huber’s strong track record in financial discipline and execution as a key asset in supporting the company’s growth ambitions. Her appointment follows the departure of former CFO Jay Green.
The move reinforces Accelerant’s focus on building a high-calibre leadership team as it expands its proprietary technology platform, which connects specialty insurers with capital partners through its risk exchange model.
Huber expressed enthusiasm about joining the company, noting that Accelerant’s data and technology-driven approach is reshaping how specialty insurance is distributed and positioned in the market.
