Acrisure has appointed Andy Tedstone as chief executive officer of its UK Retail business, effective April 2027, as the global insurance and financial services group looks to strengthen its UK operations and accelerate growth.

Tedstone joins from PIB Group’s Cobra Network, where he has served as CEO since July 2019. He previously held senior roles at PIB Group, Arthur J. Gallagher and Jelf Group, bringing three decades of experience across the UK insurance broking sector.
In his new role, Tedstone will focus on sustainable growth, strengthening client relationships and developing Acrisure’s UK retail proposition, combining local market expertise with the group’s international scale and capabilities.
Jason Howard, president of International Insurance Solutions and Global Markets at Acrisure, said Tedstone’s experience and track record of building successful businesses would support the company’s continued investment in its UK retail operations.
Tedstone said his priorities would be to support colleagues, strengthen the business’s market position and deliver growth through strong client relationships and the expertise of local teams.
Tedstone also serves on the British Insurance Brokers’ Association’s main board and chairs its Networks & MGA Advisory Board. He is a board member of Insurance United Against Dementia, a campaign led by the Alzheimer’s Society and insurance industry leaders.
Andrew Boyce, who has served as interim CEO, will return to his role as executive vice president of Acrisure International, where he will continue to support the group’s international growth strategy.
The appointment reflects Acrisure’s focus on building a locally led UK retail business supported by its global capabilities, as competition across insurance distribution continues to drive investment in specialist expertise, client relationships and growth.
