Insurance intermediary platform ANV Group Holdings has agreed to acquire UK-based vehicle warranty MGA Car Care Plan from AmTrust Financial Services.
Founded in 1976, Car Care Plan provides vehicle warranties, asset protection products, and after-sales administration to more than 30 automakers and over 2,500 dealers. It serves customers across approximately 100 countries.
The transaction also includes Car Care Plan’s overseas subsidiaries in the US, Europe, Turkey, and China, as well as Dent Wizard Ventures, a UK provider of mobile bodywork, paint, and alloy-wheel repair services.
Car Care Plan chief executive officer Ben Russell and the existing leadership team will remain in place, and the business will continue operating under its current brand. AmTrust will also remain its long-term underwriting partner.
The deal keeps Car Care Plan largely within the same corporate orbit. ANV emerged from the 2025 spinout of several AmTrust MGA and fee businesses, in partnership with Blackstone Credit & Insurance. AmTrust retained a significant equity interest in the resulting company, while former AmTrust president Adam Karkowsky became ANV’s chairman and chief executive officer.
The acquisition is expected to close around the end of September 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
