FurtherAI, an AI platform built for the insurance industry, is now available through Microsoft Marketplace, giving insurers, MGAs and brokers another route to deploy the company’s technology within their existing Microsoft environments.
The listing allows Microsoft customers worldwide to discover and deploy FurtherAI through the marketplace, with integration and management across Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft products.
FurtherAI describes its platform as an agentic workspace for insurance, designed to automate workflows including submission intake, policy comparison, claims processing and compliance. The company already integrates with Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint.
The marketplace availability is aimed at making deployment easier for insurance organizations whose IT and compliance teams already operate within Microsoft’s ecosystem.
Bringing AI into existing insurance workflows
FurtherAI co-founder and CEO Aman Gour said the company’s work with Microsoft is focused less on model capability and more on how insurers can access and deploy AI.
“For two years, the AI conversation in insurance has been about model capability: better extraction, faster generation,” Gour said. “This work with Microsoft is about distribution and deployment — meeting insurers inside the infrastructure they already trust.”
FurtherAI co-founder and CTO Sashank Gondala said the company has taken the approach of fitting AI into existing technology environments rather than requiring insurers to redesign their compliance infrastructure.
“By meeting insurers inside a Microsoft environment they already use, FurtherAI fits into workflows our customers have already built, rather than asking them to build something new,” Gondala said.
The company said its platform is intended to help insurance professionals spend less time on administrative processes and more time on risk assessment, client relationships and growth.
Microsoft Marketplace expands distribution
Microsoft said the marketplace provides customers with a centralized destination for cloud solutions, AI applications and agents from technology partners.
“We’re pleased to welcome FurtherAI to Microsoft Marketplace,” said Cyril Belikoff, vice president of Microsoft Azure Product Marketing. “Marketplace connects trusted solutions from global partners with customers worldwide, making it easy to find and deploy apps that work seamlessly with Microsoft products.”
For FurtherAI, the listing adds Microsoft Marketplace to its distribution strategy while building on integrations with products already widely used by insurers.
The move also reflects a broader shift in insurance AI adoption: rather than introducing standalone tools that require new infrastructure, vendors are increasingly positioning AI capabilities within the technology ecosystems insurers already use.
