Global reinsurer Swiss Re has appointed Teodora Aldenhoff as Chief Pricing Actuary for Life & Health (L&H) Continental Europe, strengthening its leadership team across the region.
In her new role, Aldenhoff joins Swiss Re’s L&H leadership team and reports to Augusto Diaz-Leante, Head of Life & Health Continental Europe and Managing Director of Swiss Re.
Aldenhoff has built a 15-year career within Swiss Re, holding a range of senior technical and structuring roles across life and health reinsurance. Her previous positions include L&H Valuation Actuary, Structurer in Global Portfolio Management, and most recently Senior Structurer & Transaction Manager for L&H Structured Solutions EMEA.
Her appointment reflects Swiss Re’s continued focus on strengthening pricing expertise and expanding its capabilities in structured solutions across Continental Europe, as the business adapts to evolving client needs and increasingly complex risk environments.
Industry leaders at Swiss Re highlighted Aldenhoff’s combination of deep technical expertise and strategic insight, noting her experience in delivering complex transactions across EMEA markets and her strong background in actuarial and financial mathematics.
