Aon has appointed Nick Fraccalvieri as CEO of global facultative for its Reinsurance Solutions division, effective March 1, 2026. In this role, Fraccalvieri will oversee the strategic direction and execution of Aon’s global facultative reinsurance operations, with a focus on ceded facultative business and delivering differentiated value to clients.

Fraccalvieri will also collaborate with Aon’s Risk Capital platform, spearheading initiatives to drive sustainable, profitable growth. He will lead the development of new digital capabilities and talent programs aimed at keeping Aon’s facultative solutions innovative and client-centric in a rapidly evolving risk landscape.

He succeeds Andrew Laing, who has led global facultative reinsurance for over a decade and significantly contributed to growth and innovation across Aon’s portfolio. Laing will now concentrate on his role as UK CEO of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions while continuing as global chair of facultative for the division.

Fraccalvieri, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, joined Aon in 2023 to lead EMEA facultative reinsurance operations. Under his leadership, the EMEA team achieved accelerated growth and enhanced client solutions across the region. He will retain his EMEA CEO responsibilities while taking on the global role.
