Arena most recently served as co-president at Global Atlantic Financial Group, where he helped lead the company through a decade of growth and transformation. His career has also included senior leadership roles at The Hartford and Prudential, where he oversaw retail product development, management and distribution.

Arena has been a USAA member for more than 30 years, having first joined after college when he purchased his first car. His father, who served as a captain in the U.S. Army during the 1960s, instilled in him values of service, integrity and accountability that continue to guide his leadership today.

In his new role, Arena will be tasked with maintaining the Life Company’s commitment and expertise while guiding the business toward growth, innovation and an expanded product suite tailored to the unique needs of military members and their families.
