HUB International Acquires Louisiana-Based Demarie Insurance Agency

Global insurance brokerage HUB International has announced the acquisition of the assets of FGLP Equity Partners, LLC, doing business as Demarie Insurance Agency.

Founded in 1973, Demarie Insurance is a full-service agency based in Louisiana, offering a broad range of commercial and personal insurance products. With this acquisition, the Demarie Insurance team, led by Principal Aric Pohorelsky, will join Hub Gulf South, expanding HUB’s footprint in the region.

“We are excited Demarie Insurance is joining HUB,” said Shaun Norris, President of Hub Gulf South. “Their expertise will enhance the value we deliver to clients and reflects our dedication to strengthening our presence in the region.”

Aric Pohorelsky also expressed enthusiasm about the move, stating, “We look forward to working alongside our new teammates and tapping into HUB’s extensive resources and industry expertise to further drive better outcomes for our clients.”

The deal continues HUB’s strategic growth initiative, focusing on strengthening its capabilities and presence across key markets in the U.S.
