WTW has introduced a refreshed leadership structure across its EMEA Insurance Consulting and Technology business, aimed at enhancing specialisation, accelerating innovation, and supporting growing client demand for technology-driven solutions.

As part of the reorganisation, WTW has established two dedicated business lines EMEA Property & Casualty (P&C) and EMEA Life designed to deliver deeper expertise, improve consistency, and scale advanced capabilities across the region.

To lead these divisions, Tim Rourke has been appointed EMEA P&C Leader, while Michael Kluettgens takes on the role of EMEA Life Leader. Both executives will play a central role in driving growth, strengthening collaboration across regional teams, and delivering integrated, data-driven solutions to clients.

Rourke brings more than 25 years of industry experience and has spent the last eight years at WTW, most recently leading UK P&C pricing, product, claims, and underwriting within the firm’s consulting and technology division. In his new position, he will focus on connecting WTW’s innovation and AI capabilities with the evolving needs of P&C clients across EMEA.

Kluettgens, who has been with WTW for nearly 15 years, will lead the development of the Life consulting proposition, with a strong emphasis on advanced analytics, AI enablement, and end-to-end technology solutions. His experience includes advising global insurers on M&A and financial reporting, positioning him to support clients navigating increasingly complex market dynamics.

In addition, Tammy Richardson will transition into a broader global role focused on executing WTW’s AI transformation strategy. She will lead efforts to embed artificial intelligence across the organisation while advancing the development of next-generation client solutions.

WTW said the new structure reflects increasing demand for integrated, technology-enabled services and will enable the firm to deliver innovation at greater speed and scale. The changes position the business to further strengthen its role as a strategic partner to insurers across EMEA, particularly as the industry accelerates digital transformation and AI adoption.
