UK’s LifeSearch Announces Two New Appointments to Lead Marketing and Growth
LifeSearch, one of the UK’s leading, independent protection specialists, has made two senior appointments as it drives forward its ambition to grow the protection market and deliver innovative protection to untapped and underserved customer markets.

Drawing on over 30 years’ experience in financial services marketing, communication and proposition leadership roles, Justin Harper joins LifeSearch as Chief Marketing Officer. Justin created multiple award-winning campaigns at insurer LV=, has been a leading voice in championing income protection and, more recently, led new ‘protection made simple’ initiatives as MetLife Head of Propositions.

Ed Axon joins LifeSearch as Chief Growth Officer, with a focus on attracting new, forward-thinking distribution partners. Ed has been working at the sharp end of insurance and insurance technology for the last ten years developing commercially astute, technology-led partnerships across the globe. Before working in the insurance sector Ed spend twenty years in the Media and Marketing sector developing brand campaigns and partnerships for some of the world’s biggest brands. Ed has worked with LifeSearch since January 2023 as a consultant in the role of Strategic Partnerships Director, developing the “PoweredBy Lifesearch” strategy and putting the unique LifeSearch hybrid offering at the forefront of distribution discussions with leading brands.
