The new coverage, which can be added directly when booking trips on the TravelPerk platform, is designed to provide seamless, built-in protection for common travel risks. According to TravelPerk, nearly 30% of surveyed business travelers had experienced medical issues during work trips that were not covered by existing policies, while 39% reported being unprotected in cases of lost luggage.
“This new offering is our solution so they are covered for any eventuality – simple, reliable protection built directly into our platform, ensuring our customers can travel with confidence,” said Jon Hoar, SVP Product at TravelPerk.
Sasha Gainullin, CEO of Battleface, added: “This partnership ensures that high-quality travel insurance is no longer an afterthought. By embedding our coverage and 24/7 global support directly into TravelPerk’s platform, we’re delivering seamless, tech-enabled protection that gives travel admins and employers confidence their teams are covered – wherever work takes them.”
Founded in 2015, TravelPerk has raised $860 million to date and serves high-profile clients including Wise and Red Bull. The platform also offers flexible plans that allow travelers to cancel bookings and recoup up to 80% of their travel costs.
The collaboration reflects a growing trend in the travel tech space to embed insurance and risk management features directly into booking flows, improving accessibility and peace of mind for business travelers across Europe.
