Swiss Re has named Henock Teklu as its new Group Chief Transformation Officer and Group Chief of Staff, strengthening its leadership team as it accelerates enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Teklu joins from BlackRock, where he spent more than eight years and most recently held the role of Managing Director in New York. With two decades of experience spanning investment banking, insurance, and asset management, he brings a strong track record in strategy and large-scale transformation.
In his new position, Teklu will lead Swiss Re’s group-wide transformation agenda, helping to drive strategic execution and operational excellence across the organisation. His appointment aligns with the reinsurer’s broader ambition to enhance performance and deliver on its long-term “Built to Lead” strategy.
