Roamly Launches AI-Driven Carshare Insurance After Lloyd’s Appointment, Celent Innovation Award
Roamly has unveiled its new AI-powered Carshare insurance platform, marking a major step forward for the shared mobility and fleet management sector.

The launch follows the company’s appointment as a Lloyd’s of London Coverholder and its recent win of the Celent Innovation Execution Award for its proprietary AI-powered Actuarial Rater™.

The Carshare product, already covering 7,000 vehicles nationwide, is the first commercial vehicle insurance to be fully embedded in a fleet management SaaS tool. The platform enables operators to take direct bookings, manage fleets across multiple locations, and capture more revenue while meeting state-level compliance requirements. Roamly expects the platform to onboard more than 12,000 vehicles by the end of 2025.

Built with an API-first architecture, Roamly Carshare integrates with marketplaces, mobility providers, and transportation networks. Using a mix of machine learning, telematics, and generative AI, it streamlines underwriting, automates claims, and provides real-time risk assessment. Coverage extends across multiple use cases, including carsharing, ridesharing, personal use, and idle periods.

“Insurance has historically been a barrier for shared mobility operators, often representing their single largest expense,” said Jeff Cavins, Chief Executive Officer at Roamly. “With our AI-powered Carshare solution, we’re breaking down that barrier—offering scalable, affordable, and fully embedded insurance coverage that helps operators grow with confidence.” Cavins added that the product generated over $12 million in premium by year-end.

Fleet operators have welcomed the solution as a game-changer for scaling their businesses. Natalia Zorina, President of GM Luxe in Hollywood, Florida, said the embedded insurance gives her company greater operational control, higher margins, and a better customer experience. Sean Cohen, founder of FYV Co. in Miami, described Roamly as “changing the way car rentals are done.” Justin Pappan, owner of EV Access and Dryve It in Phoenix, added that before Roamly, insurance was the single biggest friction point in scaling his fleet, but that the new solution has become “a key part of the engine driving growth.”

Roamly’s new role as a Lloyd’s Coverholder expands its ability to design and distribute specialty coverage products globally while writing risk directly from Lloyd’s balance sheet. “Our mission is to build vertically integrated, AI-enabled insurance solutions that adapt to the speed of the modern mobility economy,” said Aaron Ammar, Chief Insurance Officer at Roamly. “Carshare, combined with our Lloyd’s appointment and Celent recognition, positions us to lead the future of mobility insurance.”
