Porch Group Renews Strategic Partnership with Goosehead Insurance to Expand Distribution and Launch New Products
Porch Group, Inc, a technology-driven homeowners insurance company, announced the renewal and expansion of its partnership with Goosehead Insurance, a leading independent personal lines insurance agency.

The collaboration underscores Porch’s commitment to scaling its insurance operations through enhanced agency partnerships and diversified distribution channels.

The renewed alliance comes as Porch moves into a growth phase with the launch of the Porch Reciprocal Exchange in early 2025. This new entity is designed to drive profitable premium growth while leveraging Porch’s proprietary data to improve risk selection and underwriting performance.

“After a couple of years of managing premiums to roughly flat, the launch of the Porch Reciprocal Exchange marks the time where we have moved back to offense,” said Matt Ehrlichman, Founder and CEO of Porch Group. “Now as a high-margin, commission- and fee-based operator, we are thrilled to be growing premiums and leveraging our unique data to ensure better risk selection at the Reciprocal. We have long considered Goosehead an important partner and innovator in the industry, and we’re excited to deepen that relationship.”

As part of the partnership, Goosehead Insurance will begin offering the new Porch Insurance product, starting with a rollout in Texas. The expansion builds upon Goosehead’s existing relationship with Homeowners of America, a subsidiary of Porch Group.

The partnership signals a strategic push by both companies to strengthen their positions in the U.S. homeowners insurance market by combining Porch’s technology and data capabilities with Goosehead’s expansive agent network and client relationships.
