London-based money management app Plum Fintech has expanded its product offering with worldwide travel protection through a partnership with embedded insurance startup Qover, marking a strategic move to deepen its role as a holistic financial platform.

London-based money management app Plum Fintech has expanded its product offering with worldwide travel protection through a partnership with embedded insurance startup Qover, marking a strategic move to deepen its role as a holistic financial platform.

Backed by Aspire and Lloyd’s, the new travel protection feature is included in Plum’s Max subscription plan, priced at £14.99 per month in the UK. The coverage is delivered through Qover’s AI-powered digital claims process, enabling a streamlined and automated experience for customers.

Under the partnership, Plum users and their travelling family members are covered for a range of travel-related risks, including medical emergencies, lost baggage, travel delays, and cancellations. Customers can access all policy information directly within the Plum app, where they can view coverage details, download travel certificates, and manage claims in a fully digital environment.

The integration reflects a broader trend across fintech and insurance toward embedded protection models, where financial services platforms incorporate insurance products directly into everyday user journeys. For Plum, the move strengthens its subscription proposition by bundling financial management tools with real-world protection, while Qover extends its footprint in the rapidly growing embedded insurance market.
