The collaboration marks a strategic step in the MGAA’s continued expansion in the Irish market, where membership has been on the rise. Sicsic Advisory—already a UK Supplier Member of the MGAA and a specialist consultancy in regulatory and risk matters—will now deliver tailored support to Irish-based members.
Under the partnership, Sicsic Advisory will provide bi-monthly regulatory updates during MGAA compliance meetings, a quarterly newsletter and regulatory calendar focused on Irish developments, and expert guidance through ad hoc consultations. The firm will also participate in MGAA events to engage directly with members.
The move underscores the MGAA’s commitment to delivering meaningful, region-specific value to its members, with a focus on compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence for managing general agents (MGAs) in Ireland.
“The Republic of Ireland is an increasingly important part of our community,” said Michael Keating, CEO of the MGAA. “We’re pleased to welcome Sicsic Advisory as a valued partner supporting members on key regulatory and compliance matters. Their expertise, presence in Dublin, and proven track record in the UK market position them well to add value in this fast-developing region.”
Jerome Sebart, Director of Sicsic Advisory Ireland, added: “MGAs play a significant role in the Irish insurance market, with both carriers and brokers depending on them. We see this collaboration as a unique opportunity to support firms of varying sizes and complexity, helping them stay ahead of regulatory developments. I look forward to working closely with Mike and the MGAA team, and to connecting with members soon.”
The partnership aims to equip MGAs in Ireland with the tools and insights needed to navigate a dynamic regulatory landscape and strengthen their long-term resilience.
