Jones brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience in the global insurance brokerage sector. He joins Lockton from Marsh, where he served as CFO for Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) and CFO for Marsh Specialty and Global Placement, overseeing strategic initiatives and enhancing financial reporting.
In his new role, Jones will help drive Lockton’s international growth strategy across Europe, MENA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, focusing on investment opportunities, financial management, and expansion initiatives.
Jones began his career at PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent 12 years specialising in financial services. He later held senior finance leadership positions at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), including Deputy Group Finance Director and CFO for JLT Specialty. Following Marsh’s acquisition of JLT in 2019, he took on key financial leadership roles at Marsh Specialty and Mercer Marsh Benefits.
At Lockton, Jones will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial operations to support client priorities, new products, and services.
