The program will integrate intelligence from data providers and influencers to deliver real-time and historical market pricing for luxury goods. This capability will enable KoverNow to accurately value items, make dynamic coverage adjustments, and tailor its insurance products. The company also plans to license its market price data to asset managers and financial institutions.
“We have always based our insurance services and premiums on market intelligence and up-to-the-minute valuation data,” said John Trotter, CSO and Managing Director, KoverNow Hong Kong. “By partnering with retailers and ambassadors who bring deep expertise in their respective markets, we’re enhancing our ability to serve customers in the luxury and lifestyle space.”
The KARAT program also extends to retail partners such as jewelers, watch dealers, and camera shops, enabling them to offer instant insurance for newly purchased items. In parallel, KoverNow will expand affiliate marketing partnerships with online media platforms to drive brand visibility for itself, its ambassadors, and its retail partners.
In recent months, KoverNow has named four new ambassadors: professional photographer and camera enthusiast Ivan Joshua Loh; luxury handbag expert and data scientist Jules Pastor; whisky specialist Glenn Meijer, founder of The Whisky Collective; and soon-to-be-introduced watch expert Raphael P. Young.
“Our goal is to build a powerful global ecosystem that informs our insurance platform and provides exceptional value to our partners and customers across our portfolio,” Trotter added.
