The collaboration aims to simplify access to insurance for HBX Group’s travel industry partners, with an initial rollout in the UK and Europe.
The partnership will allow hotels, travel agencies, and other industry players to source tailored, competitively priced insurance solutions through Superscript’s technology-driven platform. By integrating HBX Group’s market knowledge and data with Superscript’s expertise, the companies plan to advance HBX Group’s broader insurtech initiatives.
“Our partnership with Superscript will help our travel industry partners to find innovative and competitively priced insurance solutions for a wide range of business risks,” said Daniel Nordholm, Chief Product & New Business Officer at HBX Group. “With the company’s expertise and HBX Group’s industry knowledge, data and insights, we see this partnership as key for the development of our Insurtech initiatives.”
Superscript, a Certified B Corp, is known for its digital-first approach and focus on emerging risks. The company was among the first UK insurtechs to become a Lloyd’s of London broker and is dual-regulated across Europe. It recently received the award for Commercial Lines Broker of the Year – SME/Mid-Market at the 2025 British Insurance Awards.
Christopher Barclay, CEO of Superscript, said the partnership will bring greater flexibility and efficiency to the sector. “We are delighted to be partnering with HBX Group to meet the needs of its partners with our award-winning digital broking,” he said. “We look forward to offering a range of competitive corporate commercial insurances for hotels and retail travel agencies in the coming months.”
The deal builds on HBX Group’s existing partnerships with battleface, Wallbid, and Intermundial as the company continues to expand its portfolio of insurance solutions for clients and suppliers across the travel ecosystem.
